Scriptures
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Tim 3:16 -17).
The Trinity
We believe in one true God who exists eternally in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and rowHoly Spirit) each person being fully and equally God, possessing all divine attributes (2 Cor. 1:14; John 1:14, Matt. 28:19; Deut. 6:4).
We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Holy Trinity. He is eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient love, perfectly, just, and holy. He is the sovereign master of Heaven and Earth.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the trinity and the Son of God. Jesus was revealed to men, to accomplish the prophecies foretold and become the Savior of mankind. Jesus was miraculously conceived by Holy Spirit. He died on the cross as a substitute sacrifice for all.
Christ was the all-sufficient atonement for all the sins and all men. He was buried but rose again. He ascended to heaven in the body of resurrected glory and sits at the right hand of the father, exercising his ministry of intercession. He will return in the air to take the church which is His bride and fulfill the eternal plan of God by executing God's judgement.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He disapproves and convinces the world of its sins. Holy Spirit regenerates believers and leads them into all the truth we find in Jesus Christ (John 2:16-17; John 16:7-8).
Satan
We believe that Satan is the instigator of evil. He is a real spiritual being and not merely the personification of evil. Satan is a fallen angel who God permits temporarily to roam and influence the earth. He was totally defeated through Christ's work at the cross, but the execution of his judgment will occur at the end of the millennium kingdom when he is thrown into the lake of eternal fire. (Isaiah 2:12; Ezekiel 28:11-19; Rev. 12:9; Rev. 20:1-3).
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God by a direct act of God and not the result of evolution. Man was created to glorify God, to love, to serve, and to be in communion with God. Men fell into sin when they disobeyed. (Gen. 1-3)
Salvation
We believe that the blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross is the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God's grace. Salvation cannot be gained by works or personal merit of man. It is by placing faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ that one can receive salvation. Repentance is when one turns to God and turns away from sin.
We cannot separate repentance and faith because repentance is from faith. The Gospel is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes. Those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again and forgiven of their sins. They become children of God and are a new creation in Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption and guarded by the power of God. (2 Cor 5:17, Act 26:20, Eph. 2:8)
We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself and should even allow Christ to manifest through him for the glory of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. A believer should be growing in obedience to the word of God, and progressively becoming more like Jesus. By the power of the Spirit, every believer should live a holy life that does not fulfill the desires of the flesh. They should exercise spiritual gifts to build the body of Christ, continuously doing good works and bearing fruit to the glory of God (Gal. 2:20; Eph. 2:10; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Acts 1:8).
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ. Jesus is the head and the members of the body are those who have truly received Christ by faith. The local church is a tangible expression of the body of Christ in a particular place. Since members of the body of Christ are united in Christ by the same spirit, they should live in love, harmony and unity. With the same goal, they should embrace denominational practices based on a legitimate interpretation of the Bible. The purpose of the Church is to share the Gospel of Christ to lost men, make disciples, and glorify God on earth. (Col. 1:24-29; Eph. 1: 20-23, Acts 1:8Matt. 28:18)
We believe the Scriptures emphasize certain ordinances. The Church has two ordinances: baptism of water and communion. Baptism by immersion is an act of obedience following salvation. It symbolizes the death of the believer to sin, the rejection of the old life and resurrection to the new life. Communion - celebrates the union and communion with Christ and it symbolically commemorates his death, and anticipates his second coming (Matt. 28:19, Luke 22:19-20; Rom. 6:3, 1 Cor. 11:23 - 28).
Men's Eternity
We believe that every believer who dies enters in the presence and communion with the Lord to await their resurrected and glorified body at the return of Christ. Thus, the believer will enjoy eternal life with God, in communion with him and His will, and will live forever. (1 Thess. 4:13, Rev. 9:22; 2 Cor. 5:6; Luke 23:39-43, Luke 16:19-31, Rev. 20:5, 11-15, 2 Thess. 1:5-10; John 3:18,36).
